It has been a few months since E3 but the game with three names, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been generating even more attention at this year's Gamescom. Whilst we still haven't been hands-on with the title, we have managed to see the sequel demonstrated twice at the convention, giving us enough material to give our thoughts in a video preview you can check out here.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is the continuation of the 2004 fan favourite. Set in an almost perfectly imagined Seattle, where residents should be able to navigate the game world as if it was their physical hometown, this title offers a vampire experience unlike most. Players will have to choose the faction they represent, ultimately defining the type of vampire they are, from the available choices in game. From here on, you, a bit of an outcast in the vampire community must create uneasy alliances as you work to stop an all-out civil war.

Further on the topic of Bloodlines 2, whilst at the Paradox booth at Gamescom, we got to speak with Florian Schwarzer, product manager at Paradox Entertainment to get a deeper look at the game and to understand what makes this such a worthy successor to the 2004 fan favourite. You can find the full interview here.
