So far the only official expansion teams for the Overwatch League's second season are Atlanta and Guangzhou, but with Paris, Toronto, Washington DC, and Hangzhou all reportedly in the pipeline as well, there remains two spaces left to make up the new goal of 20 teams that the league has apparently set, and now ESPN may have some insight on who these are.
Their report says that Vancouver and Chengdu will round out the Season 2 roster, and ESPN also claims that streaming platform Huya will be the owners of the latter. As for Vancouver, Aquilini Investment Group will allegedly own that team, and we don't have any idea on the prices of the slots yet.
Do you like how the league is looking for Season 2?
