Have you ever been in Chicago? If you know the city, be ready to as amazed as the Chicago Tribune staff a creation of the city in Minecraft.
After four years of on and off work, 18 year-old student Ryan Zull has finally finished this recreation of the city at a 1:2 scale. Don't forget that Chicago is a big city and has almost 3 million inhabitants, so it is limited to the downtown area. As he explains on Reddit, "all the buildings were recreated using imagery and data from Google Maps, Emporis, Skyscraperpage, and models available on the Sketchup 3D Warehouse".
So, if you have never been in the city, take a look and get a free ticket to travel its street thanks to Minecraft.
