Child of Eden misses Top Ten

Q Entertainment's Child of Eden, despite glowing reviews, has missed out on a Top Ten launch slot in the UKIE multi-format sale charts.

However, it did manage to snag slot 25, which, given a surprisingly swollen release week, is pretty good for a new title without a known brand name behind it.

It might be reason why Alice: Madness Returns charted so highly, snagging thirteenth place, the decent platformer likely coasting on the strength of the well-received original plus the recent success of the Tim Burton film remake.

Square's Dungeon Siege III managed to swing into the Top Ten at nine, while Ocarina of Time's 3D remake hit the number two spot, beaten by Zumba Fitness.
