The highly acclaimed city builder Cities: Skylanders was announced for Xbox One in the summer of 2015 after a very successful launch on PC two years ago. The game was back then part of the ID@Xbox program, but fans got nothing more on this first console version after that. Until now.

As reported by VG247, the game will finally be shown late next month at GDC in San Francisco, with a new console build available for the press to check out and potentially play. Besides, publisher Paradox promises a new expansion "designed for veterans of the game". Meanwhile you can learn more on why this is perhaps the best game in the genre by reading our review and then become an ambitious mayor with our game guide.

Is this on your radar Xbox fans?
