Team Gotham, the Madrid-based studio responsible for The Guest, has properly presented its new project this week. The title is Solo (as in that's actually the title, besides there's no multiplayer) and the team wants to back it via a double pitch: a crowdfunding campaign on Fig.co and asking for support on Steam Greenlight.
Solo is an introspective journey in which players follow a sailor and are expected to feel love, nature and their self. Team Gotham want to express their inquietudes about these feelings, and to enhance that they're presenting the colourful visual style reflected on the trailer and screens below.
But the gameplay is different. Solo is a puzzle game built on a 3D world the player navigates with some freedom. There's tiny islands, and different trials await on each one in order to awake its asleep totem.
Solo was also one of the games recommended by Rami Ismail at Gamelab 2016, with Vlambeer's indie guru comparing it to the likes of Zelda Wind Waker. If you want to learn more about the game, check out its campaign pitch.
What do you think about Solo's concept?
