Ever since we heard about Conan Chop Chop last time, a couple of have months passed and back then we were informed that the game would be released "later this year". Well, unfortunately, this is not going to happen.

Publisher Funcom and developer Mighty Kingdom have announced that Conan Chop Chop will launch in early 2021, and "this time we really mean it."

"If we had launched this year, there'd be half the number of cute pigs in the game. And you can't launch a Conan game without that," concludes Funcom's Chief Creative Officer Joel Bylos. "And besides, the only crunch we want in our Conan game is the crunch of bones beneath our sandalled feet."

The hack 'n' slash rogue-lite was revealed on April Fools' Day, lots of people thought it was just a joke, until later on, at E3 it was proved to be a real deal. The game was scheduled to arrive in September 2019 at first, then moved to Q1 2020, Q2 2020 and eventually "later this year". It has been delayed 4 times until now, let's hope we can really chop our way out in this cheeky wild world early next year.

Conan Chop Chop will release on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
