Couple who met in Diablo III get married

Their wedding was even themed to match the game.

Among all the hate on the internet there is also love, romance, and friendship, and an example of this is the story of Diablo III fans Alexis Loo and her husband Alvin Lau, who met online while playing Diablo III in 2015.

Their online friendship through the game quickly turned into a romance, and the pair got married last year, celebrating the whole thing with an elaborate Diablo-themed wedding cosplay photo shoot that warms our hearts. Mezame handled the photography and on their official site they wrote the following statement:

"Today marks the arrival of 2017 here in Singapore, and also, in the U.S. where it's still the 31st December 2016, the 20th anniversary of the day we stepped into the world of Sanctuary in the Diablo universe by Blizzard. In time for both the arrival of the New Year and the 20th anniversary of a beloved franchise is this exclusive look at the behind-the-scenes of Revenge of the Nephalem - a themed pre-wedding photo series that we did for a couple last year in a collaboration with our friends from Neo Tokyo Project - featuring Alvin Lau and Alexis Loo."
