Elijah Wood took to the stage during Ubisoft's E3 press conference to reveal a new trailer for his VR game Transference.
"Have you ever dreamed of entering someone else's consciousness and exploring their darkest thoughts and most intimate secrets?" Questioned Wood during the conference.
Elijah's studio, Spectre Vision, is aiming to bring a first-person exploration game into a chilling new dimension. You must search for clues and solve puzzles to escape a corrupted mind in what is promised to be a reality-bending psychological thriller that blurs the lines between fact and fiction.
The trailer featured a combination of live action and in-game footage that points to it being a pretty intense horror game. It features sections that looked like straightforward, first-person puzzles, but also a section where a child is being pursued by what looks like an electronic demon.
This is certainly one to keep an eye on. Transference will be coming this autumn on VR and traditional platforms (PC, PS4, and Xbox One).
