Paradox Interactive has confirmed that Crusader Kings 2: Conclave, the latest expansion to the dynasty simulator, will be released on February 2.
The DLC will add more to the diplomatic side of the game, primarily a fresh new council mechanic, with the people within your kingdom demanding more of a say in what goes on. This does of course mean that this will need to be maintained throughout the game, or else you'll end up with civil conflict on your hands.
All in all, Conclave will add a political twist to the tail, and increase the importance of keeping your countrymen happy by implementing various laws and making critical council decisions.
It's coming up to four years since Crusader Kings 2 launched on PC, Mac, and Linux, and this time last year we took a closer look at how the game is shaping up after multiple DLC drops. Head this way for more on that.
