The Call of Duty World League has revealed even more events for 2017, and this time even more cities will get a taste of the action, featuring as stops on the CWL Championship road.

The four "key European events" added are CWL London from January 28 to 29, which Gfinity will host; the CWL Paris Open from February 17 to 19, as hosted by ESWC; the CWL Birmingham Open from April 14 to 16, with Multiplay hosting; and the CWL Sheffield Open, from June 24 to 25 and hosted by EGL.

"The CWL events in London, Birmingham, and Sheffield will be dedicated to European Call of Duty competition as official stops on the road to the CWL Championship, the biggest stage of the year," the announcement reads. "In addition to the events specifically for European teams, the CWL Paris Open will offer teams from around the globe the chance to travel to Paris for a shot at their share of the $100,000 [US dollar] prize pool and the all-important CWL Pro Points. CWL Pro Points are the key to qualifying for the CWL Global Pro League beginning in April and the CWL Championship later in 2017."

In the first season of the CWL, Team EnVyUs took home the trophy in a competition which 1,000 teams took part in, and over 1.1 billion minutes of broadcast content was viewed. This year should hopefully up the excitement even more, then.

More details on the CWL can be found here. Will you be going to an event near you?
