It's been an epic day for news, so let's get down to brass tacks.

Skyrim's Dawnguard DLC has dropped onto Steam for PC owners, but technical issues have further delayed the PS3 release.

Speaking of Steam, Bethesda's got a number of sales running over the weekend to tie in with Quakecon.

And speaking of id (oh how it all links together!), the studio's released a teaser trailer for Doom 3 BFG Edition's Lost Missions expansion.

EA's got a new Army of Two title in the works - and it's being developed by Dead Space studio Visceral Games.

The company's also confirmed NFL 13 is coming to Wii U - here's the first details and screens.

And wrapping up EA-related news pieces, Bioware's revealed details on screens for Mass Effect 3's next DLC - a story-driven chunk of downloadable content for the main campaign.

After it was confirmed earlier this week, we've snagged the first screens of Ada Wong's campaign scenario in Resident Evil 6. Want to see it in action instead? We've got you covered.

Susan Sarandon and video games. Not something you'd imagine writing in a sentence. But the actress headlines a high profile cast list for Dishonored's voice actors.

We talked ourselves dry for today's helpings from GRTV. We talked the eSports scene with Shootmania's product manager, tackling Tolkien in Guardians of Middle-Earth with its senior designer, what's new in Rift with its VP, and found out exactly what the hell Amphora is (hint: it's not a submersible).

All this, and our regular GRTV News bulletin rounding up the biggest news stories from the past seven days.

And that's the week that was. We're off to finish Ridge Racer 3D's Grand Prix, argue architecture choices in Minecraft, and try and get the Parappa the Rappa soundtrack out of our heads. Make sure to tune back in over the next couple of days for our regular Weekender feature tomorrow and our latest Top 7 selection this Sunday.
