Another busy day at the news desk is over and as the dust settles it's a bit weird to release the potentially biggest piece of news was the announcement that Nintendo of Europe will be hosting a Nintendo Direct Wii U preview on Thursday. We're likely getting the official launch details for Europe then.

On to some positive cuts, price cuts namely Hitman Trilogy on Steam and Ubisoft on iOS. A much more negative cut has to do with Funcom, who recently cut 50 % the workforce. One of the affected was Martin Bruusgaard, lead designer on The Secret World, who tweeted about his departure and confirmed that the Oslo offices were hit with even more severe lay-offs than the percentage mentioned. Our wishes goes to all affected by the cut backs at Funcom.

Obsidian Entertainment started teasing their next project (after South Park: The Stick of Truth) dubbed Project X.

News reached us that two employees at Bohemia Interactive have been arrested in Greece after having been caught filming miltary facilities on the island of Lemnos (which is where Arma III is set).

There was plenty to get excited about on GRTV as well as we were treated to an interview with Greg Goodrich on Medal of Honor: Warfighter and Peter Holzapfel on Warface.

Special shout out of the day goes to Jamie Colliver and his Final Fantasy VII recreation in Little Big Planet 2. We're impressed. Very impressed. And somewhat alarmed.
