Now that we are a few weeks into the Overwatch League offseason, teams are starting to fully embrace the rosterpocalypse culture by making some serious changes to their active line-ups and staff. The Dallas Fuel has joined this trend by releasing a couple of players and a coach, as it gears up for the 2022 season which will be played on Overwatch 2.

The players that have been released from the Dallas Fuel are Do-hyeon "Pine" Kim and Seung-soo "Jecse" Lee, with Jung-keun "Rapel" Kim revealing that he will be retiring from competitive Overwatch. On top of this, assistant coach Yong-jin "Yong" Kim has decided to leave the team, and to really round this out, the Fuel has even said a formal goodbye to Ki-hyo "Xzi" Jung who will be remaining in Korea and competing for an Overwatch Contenders team instead.

The team now has an active roster that consists of five players, but we can probably expect the Fuel to be in the market for a few new members ahead of the 2022 season.
