The Dallas Fuel has announced that it is dropping all of its active players, except for Kim "Doha" Dong-Ha. The team which had a less than desirable season with a 13th place finish struggled over the course of the year to compete with the higher-ranked rosters. As a way of rebuilding for the 2021 season, the Fuel has offloaded the majority of its players.

Originally announced in a tweet, the Dallas Fuel has dropped these players:

- Youngjin "Gamsu" Noh
- Dylan "aKm" Bignet
- Wonsik "Closer" Jung
- Ashley "Trill" Powell
- Lucas "NotE" Meissner
- Nolan "Paintbrush" Edwards
- William "Crimzo" Hernandez
- Stefan "Onigod" Fiskerstrand
- Benjamin "uNKOE" Chevasson

Out of the dropped players, most will end up on the free agency market that is becoming more and more stacked by the day. Some, however, have chosen a different path. aKm, uNKOE and Trill will be moving to Valorant for their future esports careers, whereas Gamsu will be transitioning back to League of Legends - the title he originally competed over before Overwatch.

With only Doha being re-signed to the Fuel for the 2021 season, Dallas will either be looking to the free agency market, or for young talent during this off-season.
