Red Hook Studios really made a name for itself when the small team released Darkest Dungeon back in 2016. Since then, the studio has continued supporting the game with updates and expansions, making it even better and, therefore, the game's fans are even happier. That's one of the reasons why a lot of people got really excited when the studio decided to almost triple its size. Something big was coming, and now we know what.

We've just received a small teaser revealing that Darkest Dungeon II, and it's called The Howling End. How ominous! That's pretty much it in terms of details though, as the developers want to keep some cards close to the chest for a while longer, although they did tell PC Gamer that combat would be getting a tune-up, and that there would be a completely different metagame with the sequel about "enduring a gruelling journey, not cleaning up your backyard."

Beyond that, there are still a few things we can gather from the teaser trailer, including the return of the original character classes and a new area to explore and fight our way through. Check it out below.
