Phoenix Labs has revealed that Dauntless will officially launch out of PC beta on May 21, but what's more is that we also get the announcement of the new Hunt Pass - titled Hidden Blades - coming on the same day.
This Hunt Pass is for old and new players alike and will change the game's Shattered Isles into a Moon Blossom Festival, bringing new gear for characters. Players will be able to progress through 50 levels of either the basic or elite tracks for the acquisition of new items or the premium currency.
Alongside this, Dauntless will also receive a host of improvements and content updates, one of which will be the mastery system, offering a new way for players to unlock achievements and earn new rewards. Throughout the game, each weapon and Behemoth will have its own mastery card for players to delve into as well.
Players will also be delighted to hear the game will be receiving a huge campaign rework at the same time, including plenty of features from meeting new players to crafting changes. As well as this, a new "End of Hunt" page has been introduced, which will bring a host of information including the progression made toward gear.
Finally, new players can look to pick up the Arcslayer pack, which will introduce a mech-inspired armour set and includes premium currency and some extra consumables. Likewise, the introduction of this pack marks the last period for current players to unlock the Ramsguard set before it's locked away for good.
The game will be launching on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 21, but you can play the early access version already.
Will you be picking up Dauntless when it launches?
