Deadly Premonition is one of the most dividing games of the generation and naturally it has amassed a sizeable cult following. Prior to the release of the Director's Cut version on Playstation 3 - director Hidetaka "SWERY" Suehiro had the following to say on his blog:

"And to all my fans, who keep giving me their never-ending support... I think I'll have some surprising and amazing news for you next year."

Surprising and amazing news, eh? Perhaps a sequel is in the making... but then again it could be something entirely unrelated Suehiro is referring to.
