We recently reported that a new form of Lycanroc was coming to Pokémon Ultra Sun / Moon, without details on how to catch it, but now the game's official site has given new details about the Pokémon, including how to obtain it.

This Dusk Form has some similarities to the Midday Form, as well as the Midnight Form, including red eyes from the latter and a four-legged stance from the former. We also know that it relishes combat in close quarters, and tries to use Counter when the battle really heats up.

The similarities between the Dusk Form and the Midday and Midnight ones extend to the moves it can learn as well, including both Accelerock and Counter. Accelerock is a Rock-type that always goes first, and Counter inflicts double the damage received by an opponent's physical attack. Dusk Form also has the Tough Claws ability, increasing the power of moves that make direct contact.

In regards to how to get your hands on the Dusk Form, only special Rockruff can evolve into this, and neither this Rockruff nor the Dusk Form Lycanroc can be caught in normal gameplay, although you can get a special gift of this Rockruff as an early purchase bonus with the games. You can get this from Nintendo Network from Friday, November 17 until Wednesday, January 10, though, so be sure to pencil down this date in your calendar if you want this Pokémon.

Other details on how to get this special Rockruff will be announced soon, coming to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon which launches on November 17. Has this Pokémon caught your interest?
