As we reported yesterday, the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight has been hit by a raft of performance issues, with widespread reports of players experiencing major dips in framerate and stuttering, together with some game destroying bugs.

Rocksteady Studios has now commented on the whole ordeal via the official Arkham Knight forum, and they're defence seems to be that these issues are not of their doing:

"We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible."

A last minute change to the game's recommended specs points to an issue with AMD graphics cards - there's new drivers here - although many are now questioning how such serious issues could go unforeseen. Given Steam's new refund policy, it'll be interesting to see how many players ask Valve for their money back.

REVIEW. Written by Ricardo C. Esteves

"The plot is virtually nonexistent, activities are repetitive and everything ends in an hour (two if you want to search for the extras)."
