Did Walmart just leak Rage 2 and Gears of War 5?

The Canadian arm of Walmart has just - accidentally we assume - posted a huge list of games available for pre-order, including a number of titles that haven't been announced or confirmed yet.

The screenshot was shared by Wario64 on Twitter, a name that long-time readers may well recognise as he's revealed a few interesting tidbits over the years. This might be the motherload, though, as it seems to confirm some interesting games ahead of E3 next month. In the listing we can see mention of Gears of War 5, Just Cause 4, Borderlands 3, Rage 2, Assassin's Creed, and a few more besides.

Some of these titles are already widely rumoured (Splinter Cell and Borderlands 3, for example), but there are few strange placeholder names in there. Dragon Quest 2 is one we can't be sure about as it doesn't fit with the current naming conventions used in the series. Destiny Comet could be related to upcoming expansions. Forza Horizons 5 (yes, with an extra "s") seems to be jumping the gun somewhat and most likely relates to a fourth game in the spinoff series.

But there are some games mentioned that we've not heard discussed publically before. Rage 2 is the one that really stands out from the crowd, but there's also the small matter of the Assassin's Creed game listed (there's no subtitle). Then there's Lego DC Villains, as well as Just Cause 4. Oh, and right at the end there's a listing for Gears of War 5.

All in all, that's a lot of unannounced games and quite possibly there'll be one or two PR teams revising their plans following what looks like a massive leak. Might some of these titles be set for reveals next month during E3? Are they all even genuine? Simply put, we don't know for sure, but with the eyes of the gaming world set to fix on LA next month, we should have a clearer picture sooner rather than later.
