Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory new screens

Bandai Namco has revealed more information about the story of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory, including two new characters and details about the game's online functions.

"Hackers in the Digital World are divided into groups with different objectives," the press release explains. "Some will cooperate whilst others fight each other to destroy the dimensional barriers and invade the real world. The largest hacker group, "Zaxon", will strongly fight to protect the Digital World. One member, Jimmy Ken, is unsatisfied with the management so decided to create his own group called "Demons". Confusion reigns in the Digital World especially with this mysterious hacker named K who wants to chase the criminal who is hunting for your account."

In the game you'll also be able to battle against other players using Digimon, and the Network Battle experience has been improved. Rank Battle mode, for instance, has pre-determined rules and rating points, and Event Battle rules will change every two weeks (this special mode will reward players but won't impact on scores). In Free Rule Battle, however, players can create their own sets of rules, and have up to eight friends join. Coins from Rank and Event can also be used in the Coin Shop to purchase accessories for your Digimon or your character.
