Disney has seemingly cut all ties with Star Wars 1313, after appearing to abandon the game's trademark and removing all hope that development of the game might have been farmed out to an external studio.

According to the US Patent & Trademark Office listing, the trademark was abandoned "because no Statement of Use or Extension Request timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued."

Back in March it was suggested that development of the game had been put on hold following Disney's acquisition of LucasArts (which happened as part of the takeover of LucasFilm at the end of 2012). That speculation was followed by Disney closing down LucasArts the following month. Now, with the trademark being abandoned, it seems that there's no chance of Star Wars 1313 making any sort of appearance.
