Disney has announced the closure of Propaganda Games in the wake of its last release Tron: Evolution. The title made little impact at retail, and received mixed reviews.
The developer, based on Vancouver, was behind the remake of Turok that hit consoles and PC in 2008. It was also working on a Pirates of the Caribbean MMO before the plug was pulled on the project late last year.
An official comment is still to come from the developer, whose official website remains unchanged today. Under the 'About Us' section of the site, the company had posted:
"Propaganda Games is a world-class game development studio in downtown Vancouver, Canada. As a Center of Creative Excellence for Disney Interactive Studios - an affiliate of The Walt Disney Company - we make action/adventure titles with gripping storylines, stunning visuals and innovative game play. We're passionate about games. We like playing them and we love building them."
