The sharp-eyed wordsmiths over at ArsTechnica spotted that Amazon has recently updated the boxart for Halo 5: Guardians and where once it said "Xbox One Only" it now reads "Xbox One Console Exclusive".
It could be significant because it's the same messaging used on the covers for other Microsoft games that have launched on Xbox and PC since the platform holder opted to publish all of its coming games on both console and Windows 10 PC via the Play Anywhere initiative.
Currently, the only way to play Halo 5 in a remotely official way on PC is the Forge mode that was released there. That in itself suggested that Guardians might follow suit, but a PC port of the shooter has never materialised. Is this reworking of the boxart the first sign that MS is looking to bring the fifth entry in Master Chief's ongoing saga to PC? Only time will tell.
