Don't expect a Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales sequel

CD Projekt Red seemed pretty sure of the answer, following on from their cutting of support for Gwent on consoles.

Most things CD Projekt Red has done lately have ended up as a huge success, especially with regards to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, although there are exceptions. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, for example, hasn't quite gathered the same momentum as the RPG, despite being in the same universe, and now it seems we won't be getting a sequel.

This news comes from a recent Q&A video, in which community manager Paweł Burza got the question as to whether they would make a sequel to the game, and he confirmed that this won't be the case.

Despite cutting support for Gwent on consoles too, it isn't like CDPR is in a bad place, as The Witcher 3 was just released on Nintendo Switch, and 2020's Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of next year.

Have you tried Thronebreaker?
