We'll apparently spend the rest of 2017 in virtual reality.

The developers at Bethesda have really jumped aboard the virtual reality train, as they previously revealed that both Fallout 4 and Doom would get the VR treatment, but then went very quiet. Some thought that this meant the projects had been put on ice, but it was actually quite the opposite. Not only did both of them get new trailers at Bethesda's E3 conference two months ago, but Bethesda Game Studios also announced that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would make its way to PlayStation VR. None of them got any specific release dates however, so we kinda hoped to get a breather between their respective launches. Well, we might have time for a quick one.

Bethesda has decided to announce all three release dates at the same time, and it starts when Skyrim VR launches on PSVR on November 17. We'll then get to explore the lush and beautiful environments for 14 days before Doom VFR kills its way to HTC Vive and PSVR on December 1. The piles of slayed demons have probably grown quite large by the time Fallout 4 VR comes to the HTC Vive on December 12.

One thing is definitely clear: we'll finally get to test how long we can stay in virtual reality this winter. How would you rank these games on your wish-list?

REVIEW. Written by Ricardo C. Esteves

"It is definitely worth considering, but VFR is far from being mandatory, unlike the original before it."
