Wizards of the Coast, distributors of the Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons franchises, announced that a new studio is being created with a video game legend as its head. Dragon Age: Origins lead designer James Ohlen will apparently lead the studio and while its focus isn't clear yet, we can speculate. Will the studio be putting out video games tackling the already insanely deep Magic: The Gathering universe? If so, there's plenty of content to draw from right off the bat.
Among others, Ohlen left BioWare last year, but he is definitely prolific in regards to what he's worked on in the past, with games he's worked on being Baldur's Gate, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Nights, apart from Dragon Age: Origins. What Ohlen is working on remains to be seen, but it'll be interesting to learn more about the newly formed studio.
