Arc System Works' Dragon Ball FighterZ was hands-down one of the biggest surprises of both Microsoft's Xbox press conference and the whole of last week's E3 in general, and when the frantic 3v3 anime brawler was unveiled for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, many asked whether or not the Switch would get its own version even if it's not currently in the publisher's plans.

As producer Tomoko Hiroki explained to Gameblog.fr, a conversion for the Switch is not a matter of the hardware's raw power as they don't see obvious limitations, but rather it's all dependent on community interest.

"I don't know who told you that [Switch being not capable enough], but it really isn't a matter of power", explains Hiroki. "We found no technical difficulties when developing Xenoverse 2 for the Switch. If we keep getting requests from the fans, we could create a version for the Switch. It might not release at the same time, but we can consider it".

Nintendo Switch is getting a version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 this year, and it'll be the first fighter on the platform starring Goku and company as playable characters. Here's the Dragon Ball FighterZ Xbox One X trailer that excited fans at E3:

"If you're a Dragon Ball fan, it's an easy recommendation, as long as you don't mind swapping content for gameplay and graphics."
