After announcing that Dragon Quest Builders 2 will land on Switch and PS4, Square Enix went on to confirm that the first chapter of the series, released last year on several platforms, is preparing to launch on Nintendo Switch as well.

The Switch version will allow players to ride a Great Sabrecub in Free Construction Mode, which is one of the major new features you'll find in this release. Sabrecub will offer more rapid movement and the ability to recover special materials when defeating enemies. Now you know.

At the time of writing we've been told that Dragon Quest Builders will come next Spring on Nintendo Switch, but we don't have any official launch date as yet.
