As per the norm, this year's E3 has yielded up some incredible trailers. We've collected together our ten favourites (and some honourable mentions) and added them together for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

Announced before the show had even started, the accompanying trailer for Mortal Kombat X is as grizzly as it is awesome. Watch on as Scorpion and Sub-Zero have at it in this moody stage pulled from the new game. The game, which will hopefully be running at 1080p and 60fps on new-gen consoles, is heading to PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Lara Croft is back (in no less than two different games announced this year - the other being Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris) in Rise of the Tomb Raider. It's actually the sequel to the recent reboot - Tomb Raider - so expect a similar mix of stealth and action. This one's coming at some point in 2015, and needless to say, we can't wait to see more.

We're super pleased that No Man's Sky got so much time to shine during Sony's presser this year. It's been a difficult year for Hello Games, with flooding setting back the small team's progress somewhat. But they're persevering with their exciting project, a sci-fi game inspired by the likes of Asimov, filled with procedurally generated worlds and unique experiences.

A particular highlight of ours from E3 week, was the announcement and accompanying trailer for Rainbow Six: Siege. Originally packaged at Patriots, after several visits to the drawing board, Ubisoft finally came up with Siege, and it really does look like it was worth the wait. The trailer shows two multiplayer teams, one in a house with a hostage preparing for battle, the other scouting out the building before executing a tactical insertion. We're hopeful that this one turns out as mega as it looks.

The inclusion of the Batmobile in Batman: Arkham Knight is going to allow many of us to scratch a very particular itch when the game is released next year. As you can see from the trailer below, vehicular combat is going to be a prominent feature in Rocksteady's trilogy closer, and on top of that we can still look forward to the excellent melee combat and exploration that the series has made its name with so far.

Could this be the end of Uncharted? If it is, the clue is certainly in the name, with Sony and Naughty Dog using E3 to reveal the full name and trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Nolan North went on record this week to say that he thought it might end up being the last game in the series, but given that we're not going to get the game until next year, that decision is still likely a long way off for Sony and Naughty Dog.

Ubisoft knows how to make great trailers, and their introduction to Far Cry 4 at E3 was nothing less than top quality, and once again shows a publisher that has mastered the art of the reveal. We were already looking forward to this after the stellar offering of Far Cry 3, and this trailer has done nothing but put us more in the mood.

After we'd seen the trailer for Wii U Zelda we were like "yeah, that's nice, now show us the gameplay". Turns out that they did, and the new Zelda game just looks that good. We can't wait to see more, and that 2015 release window can't come around soon enough.

Sunset Overdrive is injecting a bit of colour into an otherwise dark and moody lineup of games at this year's E3. Don't get us wrong, we love a well balanced shooter or a moody action-adventure game, but there's something liberating about seeing a developer let off the leash and being allowed to create something vibrant and colourful, as this trailer demonstrates so aptly.

The best video of the show? It has to be Dead Island 2, which was confirmed during Sony's presser via this fantastic trailer (starring Jack Black, no less). Jury's still out on the game; development is being handled by Yager (Spec Ops: The Line) so it should be good, but having endured both bugs and zombies in previous Dead Island outings, we're waiting until we've seen more before we get really excited. Still, this trailer is brilliant. Watch it. NOW.
