Lionel Messi, star of Barcelona and the Argentine national team, has long been featured on the cover of Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer series, but as his contract was running out the publisher went with Real's Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo this year. A sign that Messi had gone elsewhere? And it seems EA gave him a bigger check as he'll appear on the cover of the FIFA Street reboot set to launch in March.

Now, given Messi's video game like play style you could not ask for a better cover athlete in our opinion.
