Earthfall's Invasion update improves weapon audio

Holospark has revealed that the Invasion update for their co-op shooter Earthfall will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One as of October 30, introducing not only new features, but also improving the weapon audio, as has been explained in a brand new dev diary which you can see below.

First of all, Invasion is bringing Horde Mode, which will include four maps and see countless waves of enemies batter your defences, with a player progression system letting fans unlock 50 levels of abilities and cosmetics.

Then you have Formosa Group, who is responsible for improving the weapon sounds, adding to the "cinematic immersion". This is all the more promising when you consider that the Hollywood studio has helped with films like John Wick and Blade Runner 2049, as well as games like The Last of Us.
