Ebola outbreak boosts sales of Plague Inc.
A rather morbid cause sees downloads reach 430,000 last week.

We often see real world issues reflected in comics and games, and it seems the recent Ebola outbreak is no different. According to Plague Inc. creator Jonathan Vaughan the ongoing outbreak of Ebola in western Africa has piqued interest in his rather morbid (but excellent) strategy game.
On Twitter Vaughan commented that "Public concern about #Ebola has increased Plague Inc. downloads recently."
Last week 430,000 downloaded the game, a rise of 147,000 compared to the week before that.
Plague Inc is out on Android and iOS, while Plague Inc: Evolved is out on Steam and planned for release on Xbox One.
