The finalists for the 2021 League of Legends World Championship have been decided, following a weekend of high-level competition that saw Gen.G Esports and T1 eliminated from contention.
Set to take place on November 6, the finals will see teams fighting it for the title of world champion as well as approximately $500,000 in cash prizes, with $333,000 going to second place.
As for the two teams competing, this year's event will see the reigning LPL champions, EDward Gaming facing off with the reigning LCK champions, DAMWON Gaming.
