Space exploration title Elite Dangerous already has some VR support, but now people buying the Facebook-owned VR headset when it launches later this month can get a version of the game adapted especially for the Oculus Rift.
The game was initially developed with VR support in mind, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to hear that it's coming to the Oculus headset.
Elite: Dangerous was first released at the tail-end of 2014, and Frontier's game will also support the HTC Vive via the Steam version of the game. It's cross-platform, meaning you can play with your friends no matter which version you own, including console (it's out on Xbox One, and is heading to PS4, presumably it'll also feature PSVR support, although this is pure speculation on our part).
The game will be available on the Oculus store once the headset ships on March 28, and current Elite: Dangerous and Horizons season pass owners will be able to get the Oculus version for free.
