So far the Epic Games Store on PC hasn't allowed for cloud saves of games, but after one Twitter user called Shy asked Epic's CEO Tim Sweeney about the option appearing on Digital Sun Games' Moonlighter, Sweeney responded with the following:

"Cloud saves are enabled for a couple of new games right now. We have a bit more work to do before rolling it out more widely."

As the screenshot from Shy shows, there's an option within Moonlighter's settings where 'Enable Cloud Saves' can be toggled on or off, so it seems pretty simple, and is a feature fans have been requesting since the store came about. After all, competitor Steam has this enabled, as do various other platforms.

"It's a manual process for the store team per game but it usually doesn't require developers to update their games," Sweeney clarified.

Are cloud saves a big deal for you?
