The Epic Games Store has been making big moves in the PC space in the last year, sealing exclusivity deals and hosting a Mega Sale reducing tons of products recently, but how does that translate into sales for the games on there? Well, for THQ Nordic at least, things are looking positive.

"Epic Games Store has exceeded our expectations in terms of sales in actual units of both Metro Exodus and Satisfactory during the quarter," THQ Nordic CEO Lars Wingefors told PCGamesN. "Epic Games Store is in fact the group's leading digital platform in terms of revenue generated by units sales in the quarter ending March."

This comes after Metro Exodus' "largest game launch" in the company's history sold mostly on consoles, with some thinking this meant players had abandoned it after it was revealed to be an Epic Games Store exclusive. Wingefors has since clarified that this statement "was referring to the two console platforms combined - both physical and digital revenue. This is still the majority of the revenues of Metro Exodus."
