ESL and DreamHack have revealed eight ESL Pro Tour tournaments for 2021 that are set to take place between February and December. Things have changed for the 2021 year as there will be fewer tournaments and each will take place over two weeks with a short break.

The first tournament in the 2021 calendar is IEM Katowice, which will take place February 16-28 in Poland and has a $1 million prize pool. Eight events have been revealed so far but the tournament organisers have stated that the schedule will be updated as more tournaments are announced.

A blog post reads: "In 2021 we wish to enhance our shows and the key to this is better storytelling. The new format for ESL Pro Tour events will help shape our vision for the future of Counter-Strike. Starting with Intel® Extreme Masters Katowice 2021, all of our 8 ESL Pro Tour Masters and Masters Championship tournaments will be held over the course of two back-to-back weekends, with the group stage being played from our new ESL Pro Tour CS:GO Studio. The second weekend will as usual take place in some of the most prestigious stadiums across the world."

The details on all the confirmed tournaments can be viewed below:

  1. IEM Katowice - Feb. 16 to 28

  2. ESL Pro League season 13 - March 10 to April 18

  3. DreamHack Masters - June 3 to 13
