The first day at BlizzCon had a lot of highlights, with a lot of action happening over the five tournaments on offer, but the second day meant that finals would be played and champions would be crowned, and there was no shortage of excitement to keep fans entertained.

The World of Warcraft Arena World Championship, to start off with, had the final between Splyce and Method (NA) yesterday, and the match was close. Splyce narrowly edged out Method (NA) 4-3 in one of the tensest matches in recent history, becoming the first team to win back to back titles.

The Heroes of the Storm Fall Championship title was taken home by Ballistix, however, beating Sweden's Fnatic and only losing two battlegrounds over the entire event.

Elsewhere, South Korea proved dominant in the first Overwatch World Cup in front of a very busy BlizzCon arena. Anticipation for this tournament was always going to be high, with big guns like the USA and Russia in action, but South Korea didn't drop a single game, besting Russia in the final.

In the StarCraft II WCS Global Finals, Byun followed an his success in the Global StarCraft II League championship to take home this trophy as well, all the more impressive considering he doesn't have sponsorship or a team.

Lastly, but certainly by no means least, Pavel "Pavel" Beltukov defeated Artem "DrHippi" Kravets in the grand finals of the Hearthstone World Championship, winning 4-2 to take home $250,000 US dollars in prize money. Considering Pavel missed the cut to play at BlizzCon last year, this wasn't a bad result for the Russian.

With a day packed full of champions, which tournament stood out? Let us know below!
