The Danish esports organisation Copenhagen Flames has announced that it has extended its partnership with the retailer Elgiganten. The deal will see the pair working together for a further three years, and is reportedly seven-figures in size, as the announcement from the Flames reveals.

Speaking about the partnership, Steffen Thomsen, CEO and founder of the Copenhagen Flames, said (after translation), "It feels a bit like an adventure when I think of our partnership with Elgiganten. They took a chance with us back in 2016, where we were completely green and not yet able to present much other than a vision and a strategy. Therefore, it has also always been a priority for us to live up to that trust and deliver more than they could expect. Now we are here 5 years later, where Elgiganten has given us support regardless of ups and downs and where we have delivered everything that was hoped for and more. That is why I am also extremely pleased that we have signed a historic agreement that extends and strengthens our partnership for the next 3 years. We are proud to have Elgiganten on our chest and we look forward to our collaboration continuing, so that we can set new big goals and create more positive experiences for both Elgiganten's customers and our fans. "

As Thomsen states, the deal will continue to see Flames' jerseys sporting the Elgiganten logo on its chest, and likewise the deal will see the pair continue to compete and work together on activations and events, including meet and greets with fans.
