The Guangzhou Charge has been one of the quieter Overwatch League teams this offseason. The Chinese team has maintained a bunch of its members and has since only picked up Rak-hoon "Develop" Chae from the Shanghai Dragons. But now the team has announced a new signing in the Overwatch Contenders support talent Dong-hyun "Unique" Yoo.

Coming from T1, Unique was recently part of the roster that finished third in the Season 2 of Korean Contenders. Joining the Charge, this will be Unique's first move into the premier competitive Overwatch scene, where he will be looking to help the Charge improve on its abysmal 2021 season where it finished 17th in the overall standings.

Considering Unique is the only member on the Charge roster who plays support, we can probably look forward to more signings as the offseason continues.
