The Clash of Clans World Championship for 2021 concluded over the weekend, seeing another year of competition come to a close. Hosted by Supercell, the finals event boasted a $700,000 prize pool, and featured eight teams all fighting for the largest share of the pool.
After a couple of days of competition seeing various teams knocked out as the bracket unfolded, the grand finals was decided, with QueeN Walkers taking on J.X. Tiger for the title of champion. Due to the format of the tournament, the pair ended up playing each other twice, where J.X. Tiger took the victory both times, with both victories achieved by getting a higher number of stars as a result of a better overall damage stat.
The win has crowned J.X. Tiger as the 2021 champion, and sees the year of competition come to a close. Supercell has yet to share details for when the 2022 season will begin, but considering the growing audience of mobile esports, we probably won't have to wait long until the information is revealed.
