Sony Xperia has been named as PUBG Mobile esports official smartphone

Krafton and Sony has announced a partnership that will see the pair working together when it comes to the PUBG Mobile esports scene. The deal that has been struck will see Sony's Xperia phone regarded as PUBG Mobile esports official smartphone partner for the global tournaments throughout 2022.

It's noted in a press release that the deal will see PUBG Mobile esports players and teams provided with Sony Xperia phones, upon which tournaments will be played on.

"The player experience is always of a top priority for PUBG MOBILE Esports so it felt natural and confident to enter a partnership with Sony's Xperia," said James Yang, PUBG Mobile global esports director. "We look forward to seeing our players showcasing an even stronger performance with their Xperia flagship series at our global tournaments this year."

As for which exact Xperia models will be provided and used, that information has yet to be shared.
