The DreamHack Rainbow Six: Siege tournament in Montreal has come to a close this past weekend, and it was Team SoloMid that brought home the trophy to seal a place in the Six Invitational next year.

In Group C they advanced at the top with a 2-0 record, setting up a match with Rogue in the quarter-finals. After defeating Rogue 2-1, they went on to beat BDS Esports 2-0, meaning they faced Liquid in the final, who had defeated Soniqs and Evil Geniuses to get there.

It was an entertaining final, as TSM edged a close victory on Coastline before heading to Bank, where Liquid looked thoroughly dominant to make it 1-1 overall. On Consulate, however, TSM bounced back in style to comfortably win this map and the event as a whole.

Was TSM's win a shock to you?

"It's in competitive multiplayer where the game shines. The matches are short, intense and always surprising."
