Team Envy are the North American RLCS X Winter Split Regional champions

Another gripping Rocket League tournament has finished, in the North American RLCS X Regionals. This finals match-up pitted Team Envy against NRG, for a both a shot at glory and also more RLCS championship points.

Team Envy had the better run in the tournament, pushing their way through the upper bracket of the event. NRG on the other hand fell into the lower bracket and had to make a run on the brink of elimination to clutch a spot in the finals series.

The finals themselves did not disappoint, seeing an incredibly close game, with a 4-3 result in Team Envy's favour. Ultimately, with this victory Envy has acquired more points, pushing them ahead of the closely contesting NRG on both the Winter Split and seasonal scoreboards. As it stands, Envy has a 101-point lead in the Winter Split, and a 51-point lead in the season standings - meaning this season's victors are still very up in the air.
