The Washington Justice Overwatch League team has announced the signing of Sung-won "Assassin" Kim to its active roster for at least the 2021 season. Assassin will be joining the franchise as another DPS, joining the likes of Gui-un "Decay" Jang and Tae-hee "Jerry Min.

Assassin recently played for Runaway in Overwatch Contenders Korea, and this will mark his first time as an Overwatch League calibre player. Over his time with Runaway, Assassin has seen various successes, even a few Contenders seasons wins, whether he can translate that success into the Overwatch League will be something worth keeping an eye on.

The Overwatch League starts in April - as we reported on a few weeks ago - due to a seasonal delay thanks to the pandemic. This year will see the league split into two sections again, and will be shorter in length, but with an exciting new tournament-centric format.
