This off-season has been a very busy one for the British Hurricane and for that matter the London Spitfire. The former Hurricane roster was pretty much all promoted to the Overwatch League calibre Spitfire, and now a new team has taken its place. To accompany this revamped roster, the Hurricane has signed two new coaches to its management staff.

Ilya "Txao" Makarov and Jonathan "Jon" Tran have both joined the Hurricane as head coach and assistant coach respectively, following stints on Obey Alliance and Team Doge. These two players, who have both been around the Contenders scene for a while now, will be looking to help the 2021 Hurricane team become as dominant as it was in 2020.

No word on the contract details for the pair have been mentioned, but they have likely joined the team for the 2021 season at the least. Likewise, no information as to when the 2021 Contenders season will begin has been detailed as of yet.

The Overwatch League 2021 season however, will begin on April 16. You can read more about that here.
