Natus Vincere has launched its Valorant roster after signing its first professional player, Kirill "Cloud" Nekhozhin. Cloud, who is has seen varied success in the CIS Valorant scene, including managing to place 3-4 at the CIS Stage 1 Masters, joins Na'Vi as the first member of the organisation's roster, with more players set to be joining soon.
Na'Vi's COO Aleksey "xaoc" Kucherov spoke about the move into Valorant and the signing of Cloud, saying, "VALORANT has developed greatly in the world since its launch. Although the discipline is still at an early stage in the CIS, things are looking promising. Therefore we want to develop the game in our region. Our goal is to bring as many top-ranked players to the world championships as possible.
We are happy to announce Cloud as our first VALORANT player. Together we will form a lineup worth cheering for.
In the next 1-2 months, we will be doing tryouts of different players and watching the results of the VCT qualifiers, after which we will work out the final roster."
The only other person currently tied to Na'Vi's Valorant roster is the coach, Vladislav "TheVs" Moroz.
