IMG and Gen.G are hosting a Valorant training camp this August giving selected applicants an opportunity to head to the IMG Academy facility in Florida, United States, to undergo various activities and learn from some of Gen.G's talented staff members.
Known as the IMG Academy Esports Training Camp, the event will take place between August 15-22 and will see those selected attend receive various different types of training, all preparing for a tournament on the second last day of the camp.
The camp promises to give attendees training specializations in mental toughness & vision, nutrition, and leadership & communication, with each of these three pillars having their own set of sub-categories of training. There is also set to be a personalised coaching section, held by Gen.G Valorant's general manager Andrew "Blank" Leverette.
The application process is now open and will remain so until July 9, with selected applicants being announced on July 16, and while Gen.G will be providing financial assistance to a select number of individuals who "qualify based on academic, athletic, character, and financial review", the package for most attendees will cost $3,285.
